No Lack of Self Esteem for Short Kids

Parents need not worry about short kids having lack of self esteemed in

comparison to their taller peers. A new study curiously reveals that there is no psychological damage coming from being shorter than average for kids.

Even if they feel short this might not harm their psyche for long. They might be exposed to jokes but these usually brush off in a shorter period.

This report appeared in the Pediatric magazine stating that teasing and taunting among kids only happen for a short while.

These do not even affect their popularity among other children. These children were not even likely to go into a phase of depression having complexities regarding their heights. These did not even affect their relationship with other children.

The main matter of the study was that parents and pediatricians should be reassured not to put their height into focus but highlight their greater qualities to build healthier self esteem in an all rounded way.
