Women who suffer stress during pregnancy may deliver a child with asthma, according to the researchers.
The findings suggest that 16 percent of the asthmatic children were being delivered by the mother who suffered stress during the pregnancy and those without the condition have very low ratio of the asthmatic children.
Lead researcher, John Henderson, said: “this could happen when body naturally react against the stress and produce some hormonal changes which my affect the developing infant and immunity system in the womb that may express themselves in the later age.
