amazing properties that are meant to heal and disinfect. It has some wide range of components that cure severe complaints in the health department as well as clean our surroundings too! Growth of bacteria, viruses and fungi can be controlled through a sweep of the tea tree oil mixed in a toner.

Whether it is a body part or a table top, one can clean it well with gentle mixing of a few drops to some clean water. Spread of germs and infections are also controlled this way.

Microbiological testing also attest the goodness in tea tree oil backing up body protection and antiseptic, healing work coming to it. Tea tree oil is derived from the shrub of tea tree. The leaves are quite similar in looks to that of the cypress. It comes with sessile pale flowers.

The scientific name for tea tree is Melaleuca alternifolia. Tea tree has been a shrub that has been native to Australia. It can be cultivated in different places. Australia is no more the main producer of tea trees and they are found in plenty in South Wales. Traditionally the trees came from an extensive family, the Myrtaceae. In fact all plants coming from the Myrtaceae have the properties to create essential oils from them in a really easy process. They have aromatic leaves as they come with very powerful glandular dots across their leaf surfaces. When these are crushed the essential oils are released which are now used in a range of work and studies.

With these crushed leaves the essential oil may be varying in thickness and constituency. The tea trees are just one of the wide ranges of Melaleuca family which can produce essential oil for different purposes. The plant is also called Ti Tree even though the Maori called the Cabbage trees Ti.

Among many different types of medicinal herbs and trees, tea trees have been one of the most ancient and greatest ones used for various purposes. Its properties have been important in fighting a number of infections since ever. Some have even attributed to its antibiotic formulation. It can be used in rashes, dandruff, athlete’s foots, warts, herpes, blisters, sun burns, insect bites, abscess, acne, oily skin, wounds, irritations, scratching and several such minor issues that seem to bother us from day to day life.

This is just an incredible item that should be kept in every household but this cannot be used on open sores or open wounds as that would totally burn the condition badly. Also it must be diluted easily with gel or toner in order to bring about a healthy, changing as well as cleansing atmosphere to the body surface. While cleaning the environment, it can just be wiped with some water and tea tree and citrus oil dropped in it. The smell itself would make most insects fly away.
